The Crystal Coast Triathlon is a 100% non-profit race, meaning none of the all-volunteer members of the Board of Directors or the Race Director are paid for their work. Additionally, 100% of race proceeds go to local charities and non-profits, including the Friends of the NC Maritime Museum -- Beaufort, the Beaufort Historical Association, Broad Street Clinic, American Red Cross, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain.
