Overview

UPDATE 9/15/16: Online registration has CLOSED. This DOES NOT mean you cannot still register to run. Saturday morning, check in begins at 8am. You are free to bring cash or check and register at the race! It will be 25$ for each 5K participant, and 20$ for each 1Mile participant

UPDATE 9/12/16: T-shirt order MUST be closed by tomorrow! If you register after tonight, Monday the 12th, you may not recieve The Anchor Run t-shirt.

The Anchor Run is a 5k walk/run that will be held in Greenville, NC, honoring the life of Georgia Godwin, who's bravery and strength inspired many during her fight with Leukemia. Come out to support many different causes, and continue the legacy of this strong little girl, who brought so much light to all of those around her. All proceeds will be going to Team Georgia Inc., who's mission is to donate to Riley's Army, Beau's Buddies Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and the James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital.

The Anchor Run is September 17, 2016. Check-In will begin at 8:00am that morning, and the race will start at 9:00am.

The age groups for the race are: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. All children 12 and under participating will recieve a certificate. The winner of each age divison, both male and female, listed above will recieve a medal.
