Sampson County Super Sprint is a beginner friendly triathlon located in eastern NC town of Clinton. Participants will enjoy the 250 yard swim at The Center for Health + Wellness which features an 8 lane pool. The transition area is located in the hospital parking lot about 50 yards from pool exit!
The 7 mile bike course is out and back course with few rolling hills but mostly flat. The infamous bike water stop turnaround at 3.5 mile mark is a hit for all the participants.
The 2 mile run course uses the scenic downtown and surrounding neighborhood. The run is mostly flat with a few small hills and downhill finish line.
Sampson County Super Sprint Triathlon is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. The minimum age to compete in the race is 10 years old.
