We’re excited to announce that after working closely with Holly Springs PD and The Town of Holly Springs, the 2nd Annual NORTH CAROLINA SPRING CLASSIC 8K & 16K will be held on Saturday, April 24th 2021 in Holly Springs! Unfortunately, we will not be able to help kick off the SPRINGS FEST in 2021 due to COVID restrictions, but at least we can get out there and RUN!! Come be a part of the new Spring TRADITION in the “Springs”!

There are three opportunities for packet pickup, as follows:
- Thursday, 4/22 5-8pm at Pace Yourself Run Co.
- Friday, 4/23 4-7pm at Pace Yourself Run Co.
NOTE: There is no race day packet pick up. Please make arrangments to pick up your event materials Thursday or Friday. We will allow runners to pick up packets for others.
16k - 7:15 am
8k - 7:25 am
This event will be capped at 500 participants
The race will continue until 9:45 am. This will provide all runners a two 2.25+ hour timeframe to complete the course.
FINISH LINE FOOD
Bannanas & Granola Bars will be avialable at the finish.
There will be no bag drop at the start/finish line
Each aid station will have individual bottled water.
- 8k Aid station will have two aid stations
- 16k Aid stations will have three aid stations
There are many locations to park downtown. In addition, parking will be available at Womble Park which is located 1/2 mile from the start/finish line. Please follow the link below for a map of Holly Springs public parking locations.
The overall winner will be awarded for both male & female runners in the 8k and 16k. Male and female age group awards for the 8k and 16k for the top 3 finishers in each of the following categories:
19 & Under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and Over
BIB TRANSFERS & REFUNDS
Unfortunately, there are no refunds or deferments for any circumstances - we will race rain or shine unless conditions are dangerous. If this event is cancelled due to Covid - 19 we will work to find an alternative date. If we cannot, we will hold a virtual event.
You may transfer your bib to another runner. Bib transfers will need to be done at packet pickup on Thursday and Friday ONLY. Just bring a copy of the original registered runner’s driver license and we will take care of the rest. You may also change from one race distance to another on these two days.
Runners will receive a high quality poly blend race shirt. All shirts are unisex so please select your shirt size accordingly.
We are proud to partner with the REX Healthcare Foundation for this race and a portion of the proceeds from the event will go to support their charitable efforts.
We are working with the Town of Holly Springs and closely monitoring guidance from the state. We do have a pre/post race masking requirement (not required while running). We will keep you all updated through this page and email as information becomes available.
