Welcome to the 2019 Inaugural Down on the Farm Charity Ride and Golf Tournament! Down of the Farm is a 2 day Charity event to raise money for the Happy Tooth Foundation in Chapel Hill, NC! The weekend starts off with a 18 hole Golf Tournament at Wildwood Green Golf Club on Friday April 5th at 9 am. Saturday April 6th will feature a charity ride with 32,53,70 mile option through the rural farm roads of North Carolina starting at 8 am. The courses will feature scenic farm lands and rolling hills to bring you home to a true working Farm. You will be greeted with Appalachian Mountain Brewery Beer, Live Music and food to finish the weekend off.
The Happy Tooth Foundation is a 501(c)3 with the goal of empowering children to say, “Yes I Can!” One way The Foundation will fulfill this mission in 2019 is by providing children and their families with boxes of food grown at The Happy Tooth Foundation’s Plow + Share Farm, which is right where you will be starting and finishing your ride! By participating in this event, you will get to see first-hand the beginning stages of what we hope will eventually grow to be able to feed low-income families in our communities. All proceeds from this event will go directly to fund the growth of the Plow and Share Farm. We hope you will join us in making this inaugural event a huge success!
