Horse and Buddy Therapeutic Riding Program is a wonderful organization located in neighboring New Hill, NC. With a covered riding arena, sensory trails and a stable full of horses, these folks do amazing things with special needs individuals through therapeutic horseback riding. Horse and Buddy exists to help people with special needs improve balance, muscle tone, motor skills, and self-esteem. Challenged individuals, through specialized assistance from skilled professionals and volunteers, enjoy riding seven days per week!
Horse & Buddy operates solely off of donated monies. Aside from their annual fundraising gala, the majority of their donations received are $100 or less. We love the way they stretch each and every dollar and volunteer hour to help others. Needless to say, every dollar counts and no donation is too small. Help us raise funds for Horse & Buddy by challenging yourself to set a fundraising goal (even $50 or $100) and approach your friends, family and neighbors and ask them for their support with reaching your goal. Like I said, every dollar counts!
