Canes 5k Details
The Canes 5k is back! The eleventh annual Canes 5k presented by UNC Health and assisted by Raleigh Orthopaedic will take place at PNC Arena on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8:30 a.m.
The Canes 5k will take place around PNC Arena--the loudest house in the NHL--and surrounding areas. There will be both a 100-yard and 200-yard Caniac Kids Dashes, inflatables, and appearances by the one and only, Stormy! Hurricanes players, staff, and alumni are also scheduled to be in attendance.
Your Canes 5k race registration will include:
- One (1) ticket to a select Canes game*
- Commemorative t-shirt
- Customized race bib
- A delicious post-race breakfast
- A chance to win awesome raffle prizes
- For participants, 21 years and older, a complimentary post-race beer

Canes Game Ticket Details
Each Canes 5k participant (excluding the Caniac Kids Dash participants) will receive one upper-level ticket as part of your registration. There will be a list of pre-determined games in the 2024-25 season which participants can select from shortly following the 2024-25 schedule announcement. Would you like to upgrade? There will be an opportunity to upgrade your ticket or purchase additional tickets for your friends and family.
Tickets will be redeemed online, and redemption information will be sent at a later date. Keep an eye on your email for more details!
Please note: Discounted Season Ticket Member price is for full-season Season Ticket Members that wish to not receive the complimentary ticket as part of their race registration. If you are a full-season STM and would like to receive the complimentary ticket, please select the full price option.
