Bridge the Gap 5K: The Finish Line for Our Neighbors, Our Calling Campaign

Run or walk with us along the beautiful greenway trail and enjoy a day filled with family fun, games, food, and community festivities! This exciting event, powered by FS Series, will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, in Raleigh, NC.

Last year, an amazing 414 participants joined us, raising an incredible $24,000 to support Refugee Hope Partners' programs. This year, the Bridge the Gap 5K marks the finish line for our Our Neighbors, Our Calling Campaign—an urgent, six-week effort to raise $800,000 to sustain and expand vital services for refugees in our community. We hope for this event to bring in $30,000 of that overall 800k goal!

When government funding for resettlement was abruptly cut in January, refugees in Raleigh lost access to critical services like housing assistance, job placement, medical care support, and community mentorship. But Refugee Hope Partners stepped in. We are now one of the last organizations in our region still providing comprehensive support to refugee families—ensuring they are not left behind.

Every dollar raised through this race contributes to our $800,000 goal, allowing us to:

🔹 Sustain current programs like ESL classes, Homework Help, Medical Support, Bible studies, and more
🔹 Help refugees secure stable employment and provide for their families
🔹 Assist families with complex medical needs who lost access to support overnight
🔹 Launch a new Welcome Space in South Raleigh, bringing care closer to where most refugee families now live
