Ligon Magnet Middle School’s Bolt for the Blue 5K/1 Mile Run is a fun road race and PTA fundraiser open to the entire Raleigh Community. With the goal of creating a healthy community through exercise, this year's event will not only help families work up a sweat together it will also raise funds to support Ligon's Backpack Buddies Program (a partnership with the Interfaith Food Shuttle), providing much needed weekend food support to food-insecure Ligon students. We are also having a Community Health Fair highlighting healthy food, information and fun activities for all that will be held before, during and after the race.

Ligon puts on a fun and family friendly race!

*Registered students, teachers & staff are automatically entered into a drawing for weekly prizes starting the week of February 29th!

*All registered race participates are automatically entered into a raffle for great race day prizes!

Top 3 overall finishers will receive prizes from Omega Sports & Lifetime Fitness!
