Ligon Magnet Middle School’s Bolt for the Blue 5K/1 Mile Color Run is a fun road race and PTA fundraiser open to the entire Raleigh Community. With the goal of creating a healthy community through exercise, this year's event will not only help families work up a sweat together it will also raise funds to support Ligon's Food Ark Jr providing much needed  food support to food-insecure Ligon students. We are also having a Community Health Fair with lots of great information and fun activities for all that will be held before, during and after the race.The 5K & 1- Mile Color Run will start & finish at Ligon on Haywood Street. The 5K will run to Chavis Park's lower parking lot, then picking up the Greeway-Little Rock Trail, running to the turn around just before Garner Road, then heading back same route. *color run is optional

Please bring a can good to donate on race day to support our Food Ark Pantry!
