Located on Rock Ridge School Road off Highway 581 on State Road 1142. (Wilkerson Crossroads). Approximately 10 miles from downtown Wilson.

The swim will be a 750 meter triangular swim in Buckhorn Lake.  Buckhorn Lake is a water reservoir for the City of Wilson and surrounding area.  The 17 mile bike course will feature a rolling design with all right hand turns.  The bike has some great areas to really crank out the rollers but it does have a couple of small rolling hills to make it challenging.  The 5k run will be a 2 lap out and back flat course.  The 1st lap will turnaround at the entrance to park and head back out to the 2nd Aid station.  The run course is basically flat and smooth road surface.  Runners will stay on the same side of the road inside the cones.
