Canes 5K Details
The Canes 5K is back! The 12th Annual Canes 5K presented by UNC Health and assisted by Raleigh Orthopaedic will take place at Lenovo Center on Sunday, September 21, at 8:15 AM.
This isn't your average 5K, it's a Canes community celebration! This year's event will include a 5K route around Lenovo Center and surrounding areas, two Caniac kids dashes, inflatables, Kona Ice, a refreshing cool down zone, and much more. You won't want to miss the opportunity to interact with Canes players along the route, as well as appearances by Canes alumni, our FanDuel Sports Crew, and Stormy. Whether you're racing for your personal best or just joining for the fun, there's something for everyone... including our four-legged friends!
Your Canes 5K race registration will include:

Participants are strongly encouraged to pick up their packets before race day. One person may pick up multiple participants' packets, but must have a photo of each additional participant's photo ID.

Canes Game Ticket Details
Each Canes 5K participant (excluding Caniac Kids Dash and Full-STM registrations) will receive one (1) upper-level ticket as part of their registration. There will be a list of pre-determined games in the 2025-26 season that participants can select from shortly after race day.

Please note: Discounted Season Ticket Member price is for Full Season Ticket Members who do not wish to receive a complimentary ticket as part of their race registration. If you are a Full-STM and would like to receive the complimentary ticket, please select the full price option.

Post-Race Breakfast & Beer
After the race, registered participants will be able to redeem their "Breakfast" ticket for one (1) breakfast sandwich and one (1) yogurt parfait. Registered participants who are 21+ will be able to redeem their "Drink 21+" ticket for one (1) post-race beer. All participants must have their ticket(s) and bibs on to receive any food and/or drinks at the race. Additional guests may not receive these items.

To spread the love, the overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Race winners will be determined by gun time. Age group winners will be determined by chip time.
