Thank you for registering for the Just Think First 5k and Skinny Turkey 10k and Half Marathon presented by FS Series and benefiting Just Think First. The race will be held at Wakefield High School on Thanksgiving Day -- November 22 at 7:30am.
PACKET PICKUP:
You have two opportunities to pick up your runner's bib and t-shirt. WE RECOMMEND COMING TO THE WEDNESDAY OPTION TO PREVENT LONG LINES IN THE MORNING. Both packet pickup events will be held at Wakefield High School.
RUNNERS: You may pick up a packet for someone else. IDs are not required.
Walk-up registrations will be accepted at packet pickup and on the day of the race. Cash or Check Only.

There is ample parking in the school's parking lot.
RACE DAY MORNING SCHEDULE:
6:00am - 7:45am Packet Pickup
7:15 am Half Marathon Pre-Race Announcements
7:30 am Half Marathon Start
7:35 am Start of Kids Fun Run (Start in front of school finish at the finish line)
7:40 am 10K and 5K pre-race announcements
7:45 am 10K start
8:00 am 5k start and 1 mile walk
9:45 am (approximately) Awards
COURSE:

TIME LIMIT:
The roads will NOT be closed for this event, and in order to ensure the safety of all athletes and volunteers, the time limit for the half marathon is 3:15. This is approximately a 15 min. pace and will have all participants back at Wakefield High School by 10:45am. Any runners on the half marathon course after 10:45 am, may be picked up by one of the SAG wagons and taken back to the start/finish line area.
We will have pacers for each of the following times: 1:45; 2:00; 2:15; 2:30; 2:45; 3:00
AWARDS:
Awards winners must be present to pick up their awards. We will not save or mail out awards.
**The top 3 male and female overall winners, top 3 masters male and female winners, and the first place winner of each age group of the half marathon will receive a frozen turkey!**
**The top 3 male and female overall winners, top 3 masters male and female winners, and the first place winner of each age group of the 10k will receive a pumpkin pie!**
Half Marathon and 10k Awards: The top 3 male and female overall, top 3 masters male and female, and top 3 male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70-over.
5K Awards: The top 3 male and female overall, top 3 masters male and female, and the top three finishers in each of the following age groups: 8 and under; 9-11; 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70-over.
ABOUT JUST THINK FIRST:
This program was founded out of great sadness over losing seven Wakefield High School students in 24 months. The JUST THINK FIRST Program seeks to raise awareness on various topics that affect teens in society today including violence, sex, drugs, alcohol, gangs and negative peer pressure.
