The Race
The run will start in the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church (on Leesville road) parking lot and proceed through local neighborhoods before looping back around and back toward the church.
Baby joggers are permitted. No pets, bicycles, skates, or skateboards allowed. Race starts at 8am rain or shine, results will be posted at http://fsseries.com.
Proceeds
All proceeds from the St. Francis Run for Peace benefit interfaith ministries serving the larger Raleigh community through The Franciscan Coalition for Justice and Peace. Examples of the organizations benefiting from the race include the Helen Wright Center, helping homeless women with temporary and permanent housing and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, that prepares and distributes wholesome perishable food for the area’s poor, hungry, undernourished and homeless. 5K: $20.00 (families of 3 or more are $50.00 total)
1-mile fun run: $7.00
Registration September 1st up to Race Day
5K: $25.00 (families 3 or more $60.00)
1-mile fun run: $7.00
* children in baby joggers are free of charge, but will not receive a t-shirt
*There is a 6% processing fee
Refund & Transfer Policy
To cancel, please email us at info@fsseries.com by September 1st to receive a 50% refund of your entry fee. You may not transfer funds to another race.
