Triangle Open Water Swim

 

Race Description

5280 is a 1 mile open swim race that coincides with the Beaverdam Triathlon.  The swim race will take place roughly 20 minutes after the last triathlon wave departs.  The triangular swim will be in the sheltered cove in Beaverdam Reservoir off Falls Lake.

A USAT membership is required to participate in this race.  A annual membership is($39.00) or a one day $10 membership. This provides you with additional insurance coverage for each race. You can visit www.usatriathlon.org for more information on memberships.

The last day to register online for the 5280 is Wednesday, April 7, 2010. On-site registration may be available if this event is not full, but your best bet is to register online.

A $10.00 fee (for USAT race day insurance) will be added if you are not a USAT member.

Packet Pickup

Friday, April 9, from 5-7 pm at Try Sports Crabtree Valley Mall.

Saturday, April  from 7-7:30 am at Beaverdam Recreational Area shelter PS-23 near the boat ramp.
