Registration Fees: $20 for the 5 Mile by February 27th and $25 after and on race day. $15 for the 1 Mile by February 27th and $20 after. Registration fees for all spouses and children of Soldiers who have been killed in action are waived but runners must still register. Entry fee includes unique, quality t-shirts guaranteed to the first 200 registered runners.

Affiliated Charities

This year's race is being run to support the spouses and children of Soldiers who have been killed in action. All proceeds from the event will go to the Ft. Bragg Survivor Outreach Services which helps assist and support those whose loved ones have fallen in battle.

Race Description

The 5 Mile Classic starts at the Brook Valley Country Club clubhouse and winds its way around the Brook Valley subdivision west of the golf course before returning to the clubhouse and then turning and looping to the east around the picturesque Brook Valley golf course. The course finishes at the clubhouse where the post-race refreshment and awards ceremony will be held. The course is completely on the road and does not involve any off-road or golf cart paths.

The 1 Mile Fun run starts at the Brook Valley Country Club clubhouse and makes a single out-and-back loop to York Road.

Race Categories

5 Mile Age Groups: 15 and Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-99.

Awards, 5 Mile: Medals for the top 3 Males and Females overall, top 3 Male & Female Masters (40 and over), and the top 3 Males and Females in each age group.

Awards, 1 Mile: Medals to the top 3 Males and Females overall (15 and under). All finishers will receive their time and placing.

Awards Ceremony: Enjoy great food and drink courtesy of the Brook Valley Country Club as soon as you finish. The Awards Ceremony will begin shortly after the last runners finish, at about 10:00 a.m.
